The OHAUS Guardian 7000 Magnetic Hotplate Stirrers offer outstanding safety and top-tier performance across all applications. Equipped with SafetyHeat™, these devices provide dual system integrity monitoring to guarantee safe operation in heating processes. The bright LCD display, complete with intuitive icons, enables real-time monitoring of temperature, speed, and duration from anywhere in the laboratory.

- SmartHousing™: Features an innovative, chemical-resistant design that diverts liquid spills away from internal parts and glass control panels.
- SmartPresence™ and SmartLink™: Automatically deactivate the heater if no user is detected post 'time out,' or if Bluetooth connectivity is lost.
- SafetyHeat™: Employs dual safety controls for constant electronics monitoring, preventing overheating by shutting off the heater if necessary.
- Powerful Motor: Ensures stirring precision, with software-controlled ramp speeds from 60 to 1,600 rpm for effective magnetic coupling in viscous environments.
- SmartHeat™ and SmartRate™: Allow maximum temperature settings and control over rapid or gradual changes in temperature and speed. The scheduler enables storage for five multi-stage programs.
Available Models:
- E-G71HS07C: Small square plate (178 x 178 mm), 15-liter flow rate, ceramic plate, heats up to 500°C.
- E-G71HS10C: Large square plate (254 x 254 mm), 18-liter flow rate, ceramic plate, heats up to 500°C.
- E-G71HSRDM: Round plate (135Ø mm), 20-liter flow rate, aluminum plate, heats up to 380°C.
Applications: Useful in thermosensitive chemistry and biology, heat fixation, pH optimization, solution sterilization, endothermic reactions, organic material denaturation, sample preparation, solution and buffer preparation, and reagent solubilization.
Display: Features a backlit LCD display for temperature, speed, and time, with green indicator lights for heating and shaking phases, and over-temperature alerts. Icons display various smart technologies in use.
Operation and Accessories Included: Includes a mains cable, 20.3 cm (8") stainless steel RTD temperature probe, 3.8 cm (1.5") PTFE-coated stir bar, and protective hood.
Communication: A USB port facilitates programming of repetitive applications, enhancing safety through SmartLink™ technology and long-range user detection via an optional Bluetooth dongle.
Structure: Boasts heat-insulated, chemical-resistant SmartHousing™, IP21 rating, a tempered glass front panel, control knobs, an on/off heater switch, an integrated support rod holder, and easy-to-clean ceramic or aluminum plates.
Construction Features: Includes temperature indicator lights, audible alarms, temperature limit functions, SafetyHeat™ cut-off for malfunctions, calibration for multiple probes, and SmartRate™ features for optimal control.
