Description by the supplier

AREX 6 by Velp Scientifica

The AREX 6 presents an innovative design where the main activation feature only operates the heating aspect of the plate post-engagement. This serves as a safety measure against accidental activation. A safety icon further enhances user safety by signifying when the plate is hot to prevent injuries from potential burns. This feature remains activated until the plate temperature cools below 50°C. The equipment also facilitates accurate control of speed and temperature regulation through finely adjustable knobs.

Crafted with CerAlTop™ High Resistance, the AREX 6 plate is an alloy of aluminum which is layered with a ceramic surface. This composition guarantees evenly distributed and fast heat transfer throughout the entire plate's surface. Additionally, the ceramic surface offers protection against possible damage from scratches and chemicals.

With its unprecedented performance, AREX 6 sports a brushless motor that possesses the prowess to agitate up to 20 liters at an adjustable speed range from 30 to 1700 rpm. Its SpeedServo™ system consistently maintains this speed, regardless of any changes in viscosity. Furthermore, the incorporation of an Alnico magnet ensures uniform agitation and robust magnetic coupling between the motor and stir bar, which is critical when utilizing accessories.

AREX 6 is backed by a 3-year warranty and is skillfully designed to adhere to the IP42 standards, promising longevity and resilience. The structure and materials of the equipment protect its core parts against potential harm. A silicone cover is also provided to offer added protection against potential spills or splashes.

Accompanied by a host of accessories like the newly introduced Spherical Caps, they are an ideal replacement for the traditional oil baths and heating mantles. Moreover, these caps can seamlessly adapt to both the 135mm plate diameter and the shape of the tubes ensuring efficient heat transfer from the plate to the tube.

To augment protection and minimize thermal dispersion, Velp has engineered new PTFE Covers. There’s also an increase in versatility thanks to the MultiAlublock™ and the new MonoAlublock™, made of aluminium. These blocks are perfect for conducting a variety of stirring and heating analyses, saving significant time and lab space.

The MonoAlublock™ is specifically designed for applications requiring tube analysis of uniform size whereas the MultiAlublock™, due to its modularity, can accommodate various tube sizes and can be customized according to your requirements.

Radwag RMCS System Network Management of Calibration Process-cover
Radwag RMCS System Network Management of Calibration Process

RMCS system is a proprietary RADWAG software intended for support of calibration and testing procedu (more)res in a laboratory, from the moment of accepting an order, through its progress to calibration certificate issuing. The software manages the complete calibration and testing process. Mass comparators and software for network management of calibration process provide improved efficiency, reliable measurement results and complete calibration process documentation, plus lower labour costs. The system enables to initiate the calibration procedure by means of a task order sent to a mass comparator, and autonomously by the mass comparator itself. In both cases, the data is transferred to the software for the purpose of registering, controlling and finally issuing a calibration certificate. Mass comparators linked in the RMCS system autonomously communicate with THB modules recording ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure) throughout the whole control process. The modules are detachable from the mass comparators, this makes calibration of their sensors easy. Data on current ambient conditions is displayed in real time on mass comparator’s display. The data is also sent do RMCS software for control and archiving purposes. System modules: Ambient conditions monitoring module Installed, direct communicates with the mass comparator; Record of ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure) and air density calculation; Constant monitoring of ambient conditions in direct vicinity of the mass comparator and its weighing chamber; Graphic presentation of ambient conditions on mass comparator’s display. Weighing module Automatic and/or manual mass comparators as components of the RMCS system; Access to reference weights and test weights databases via RMCS software; Performance of calibration tasks ordered via the RMCS software; Self-test procedure determining mass comparator’s repeatability parameter; Transfer of measurement results to the software memory. Calculating and data storage module Sending tasks to mass comparators; Downloading mass and ambient conditions data from mass comparators; Operation on client databases / tasks / standards; Monitoring of calibration dates; Database of completed calibrations, documentation printing and archiving. Functions Complete management of a metrology laboratory calibrating mass standards and weights using RADWAG mass comparators of Y series; Calibration using ABBA and ABA methods; Network supervision over many PC workstations thanks to use of MS SQL database; Complete management of calibration orders; Extended database of reference weights and test weights; Extended database of clients, operators and users; Database of manual and automatic mass comparators; Database of calibration orders; Management of pending tasks based on issued calibration orders; Tasks and orders schedule; Not ordered weight test – quick check; Manual or automatic calibration of weights; Communication with automatic RADWAG mass comparators; Bilateral data synchronization with RADWAG mass comparators; Calibration process reports; Issuing calibration certificates according to pre-defined template; Export of report results to various file formats: PDF, MS Word, Excel; Record of events; Register of orders and calibration certificates; Archive files of calibration protocols, orders, calibration certificates and ambient conditions; Secured access to the software – log in procedure using password.

Hermle Z366 Centrifuge w/ Swing Out Rotor-cover
Hermle Z366 Centrifuge w/ Swing Out Rotor

Hermle Z366 Centrifuge w/ Swing Out Rotor For applications requiring increased capacity over the Z30 (more)6 or Z326 series centrifuges, the Z366 series offers a unique “Mid-Range” swing out rotor that accepts a variety of different tubes, including up to 16 x 50ml or 40 x 15ml. Despite this step up in capacity, the Z366 maintains a surprisingly compact design, with the standard air-cooled model featuring a footprint of 17 x 20 inches. In addition to the popular 4 x 250ml swing out rotor, a variety of additional rotors are also available. Angled rotors range from a 24 x 1.5ml micro rotor to a high capacity 6 x 250ml rotor. A 2 x 3 microplate rotor is also available, as well as a 4 x PCR strips (8-strips) rotor. Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy to use front panel can adjust acceleration and deceleration rates, and change the end of run alarm tone. Interested in rotors and/or adapters for this centrifuge? Let us know what size tubes you are spinning, and we can help you find the right rotor and accessories for your application. INCLUDED: The Hermle Z366 Centrifuge w/ Swing Out Rotor includes: - Z366-250-HC 4 x 250ml Capacity Swing Out Rotor - Z366-250-B50 4 x 50ml Conical Buckets (Set of 2) - Z366-250-B15 10 x 15ml Conical Buckets (Set of 2) - Power Cord - Operator's Guide - Manufacturer's Documentation - 5 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
