The Yamato WG-311UVUFB is a benchtop laboratory water purification system designed for producing ultrapure Type I reagent water. It employs a multi-stage purification process combining:
- High-purity ion exchange resins for mineral removal
- Ultraviolet (UV) light for bacterial sterilization and total organic carbon (TOC) reduction
- Ultrafiltration for pyrogen and nuclease removal
- A 0.2 micron final filter for particulate and bacteria removal
