SUITABLE FOR EVERY LABORATORY NEED The AREX magnetic stirrer is a great tool for basic laboratory ap (more)plications, but with the optional VTF system, which allows you to thermoregulate the sample up to 300°C with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C, it will be possible also use it for more complex applications. RESISTANCE, SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE The plate of the AREX 5 Velp model is IP42 certified and is made of aluminum alloy coated with a ceramic layer, which guarantees protection from scratches and chemical agents, making it very resistant and easy to clean. It is therefore preferred in laboratories where acids, bases and solvents are used. Safety circuits and overtemperature protection guarantee complete protection for the operators. Two light indicators inform the user when the heating function is active. Even when the instrument is switched off, an indicator light remains on until the plate temperature drops below 50°C. The plate structure and the insulating disc protect the internal parts and ensure high resistance to the most demanding laboratory environments and applications, for example when working with cold fluids (below 0°C). AREX 5 is designed to last over time and like most Velp products it is guaranteed for 3 years. PRECISE SHAKING ARE 5 is equipped with a powerful brushless motor for daily applications, being able to agitate up to 20 liters (H2O). It is also equipped with SpeedServo™ technology, which allows the speed to be kept constant even when the viscosity of the sample varies. APPLICATIONS ARE 5 is the ideal solution for temperature sensitive applications in many industrial, research and academic laboratory sectors. THE AREX PANEL: BEAUTIFUL AND SIMPLE TO USE By turning the left knob it will be possible to adjust the temperature up to 310°C, while with the right one it will be possible to set the stirring speed from 100 to 1500 rpm. The thermoregulator is ideal for multiple applications and meets the most demanding requirements in terms of precision, reliability and flexibility of use thanks to the innovative FUZZY LOGIC Technology. Automatically adapts thermoregulation to various factors such as power, load and heat dispersion. The VTF guarantees premium performance in terms of temperature control: it allows better alignment with the set temperature (with an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C) and less initial 'overshoot' (initial discrepancy compared to the set temperature). Furthermore, VTF is equipped with a system to simplify installation on the support rod and facilitate positioning of the Pt100 probe in the most commonly used containers. The two clamps allow height adjustment while a sliding clamp allows horizontal adjustment.
