The ABT-RFC-17A is a general purpose laboratory refrigerator/freezer combo unit featuring a dual temperature design with separate compartments for refrigeration and freezing. The unit is intended for applications where precise temperature control or alarms are not required.
- Temperature Control: Mechanical thermostat with analog dial
- Refrigerator Range: 0°C to 10°C
- Freezer Range: -15°C to -10°C with two auto defrost cycles warming to 0°C daily
- Defrost System: Models include either manual defrost (to avoid temperature spikes) or auto defrost equipped with an electric heater on the evaporator that may raise freezer temperatures slightly
- Capacity: 17 cubic feet combined volume
- Interior Layout: Three shelves in refrigerator (1 fixed, 2 adjustable), two bins
- Construction: Magnetic door gasket for positive seal, heavy-duty door handles, leveling legs, interior refrigerator light
