Edwards RV3 Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump

Edwards RV3 Vacuum PumpFeatures - The RV is a truly versatile pump for operation throughout for your (more) operations, perfect for wet applications, dusty applications and clean dry applications. - The RV series of pumps has the highest vapour handling capacity of any rotary vane pump. This is ideally suited for your wet pumping applications such as freeze drying, extraction, filtration and gel drying. - The best-in-class anti-suck back protection prevents dust or oil mist from entering your system. The fast-acting automatic inlet valve acts within 0.4 seconds. - The universal motor in the pump covers the widest possible voltage and frequency range from a single motor. - You can service and replace parts without dismantling the pump mechanism. All parts self-align, eliminating the need for special assembly. Pump valve has "controlled" opening on power startup so that the system vacuum will never see a pressure surge on startup The RV uses a high-quality "universal" motor to cover the widest possible voltage and frequency range. A one-size Allen key is used to dismantle all parts of the RV pump. All rotor and stator parts are completely interchangeable The RV series of small oil sealed rotary vane pumps deliver excellent ultimate vacuum pressure, high pumping speeds and superior vapour handling capabilities with quiet operation. With over 300,000 units produced, these pumps offer proven performance that sets the industry standard for R&D and scientific pumping applications. All RV pumps are approved to UL and CSA standards by an external test house and feature our unique mode selector switch, meaning one model is suitable for both high vacuum or high throughput applications. Disperser OV 625 Digital Velp-cover
Disperser OV 625 Digital Velp

A homogenizer is a laboratory or industrial instrument used for the homogenization of various types  (more)of materials, such as fabrics, plants, food, soil and many others. The OV 625 Digital laboratory disperser guarantees the highest level of reproducibility for a wide range of laboratory applications. Cutting-edge technology and engineering, like all Velp scientific products, guarantee precision and high shear force for rapid homogenization, emulsification, suspensions and high-speed mixing of biological tissues, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food products. Excellent mechanical properties and high chemical resistance make it suitable for even the most demanding laboratory challenges. DISPLAY AND CONTROL Bright, intuitive LED display and rotary knobs allow you to fine-tune the speed between 3,000 and 25,000 rpm. Clear speed information on a black background aids visibility in all conditions. SAFE AND RESISTANT Safety features ensure maximum operator protection. For example, once the set point speed has been set, the OV 625 Digital will reach it gradually. In addition, various alarms warn the user in case of overload and overtemperature. The resistant and hermetic structure allows correct operation even in the most difficult conditions. Warranty up to 3 years. For maximum comfort, choose the model with the double pole stand. CHOOSE THE SUITABLE ACCESSORY Choosing the right dispersing tool is essential to achieve maximum performance and high reproducibility. VELP dispersion tools are made of stainless steel (316L) and equipped with a PTFE seal, to be compatible with different types of samples and reagents. To handle different fluids, different dispersion tools are required. In some applications it is necessary to use two dispersing tools in order to achieve a final fineness level from coarse to fine. Thanks to a knob and a quick fastening system, inserting and changing the dispersion tool is simple and fast: in seconds you can switch from one application to the next. FOCUS ON THE PRODUCT What is a disperser? The disperser can be called in several different ways: homogenizer; Cell Lysor, High Shear Mixer, Polytron, Stator Rotor Homogenizer, Sonicizer or Tissue Tear. The various nomenclatures are due to the various uses of this tool and you have different results that can be obtained through the accessories. Essentially, a disperser is used to create a uniform mixture by forcing the sample through a narrow, confined space. Blade homogenizers, such as Velp's OV 625 Digital, use the blades as a rotor for dispersing. How does it work? The dispersing tool consists of a rotor rotating at high speed inside a stationary stator. The area between the rotor tip and the stator slot is called the shear gap. Thanks to the high circumferential velocity, the fluid is drawn axially into the dispersion head and forced radially through the cutting gap, breaking up the particles.

MultiDrive control mixes, grinds and is also fitted with a dispersion vessel and a disposable tube. There is a USB interface available for easy actuation and documentation respectively. High performance Excellent crushing performance is guaranteed by a combination of variable rotational speeds, ranging from 3000 rpm to 20 000 rpm, and a 1000 Watt output. Interval operation The option of interval programming is simple to activate at the press of a button. Interval operation is an asset during the coarse crushing of hard samples or for extra thorough blending. Integrated cooling A cooling system is integrated in the milling cup, which allows indirect heat dissipation. Thus, coolant and sample remain separate. TFT-display A clear TFT-display guarantees user-friendly operation. Temperature measurement MultiDrive control offers temperature measurement and vessel recognition using RFID. A temperature limit can be set for temperature-sensitive materials, or for specific planned reactions to protect against overheating. Weighing function The weighing function is also integrated into the user-friendly workflow of the IKA MultiDrive control. Weighing is performed before crushing using the same mixing cup, so that no transfer of contents is required. Variety of vessels (accessory) MultiDrive provides the right vessel for each grinding task. Vessels don't belong to the scope of delivery.INCLUDED: The IKA MultiDrive control includes: - IKA MultiDrive control - Socket wrench - Disassembly tool 1 - Disassembly tool 2 - Cleaning brush - USB Cable - USB A to Micro-B, 2 m - Manufacturer's Documentation - 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
