Varian SPS-5 Autosampler-cover
Varian SPS-5 Autosampler

For sale: refurbished Varian SPS-5 Autosampler   Also available: SPS3 sampler and other options if n (more)eeded Other Atomic Absorption Systems like Varian 220FS, 220Z Furnance, 240Z Furnance, Perkin Elmer series New and used parts for Agilent and Varian AAS systems   We are not a agent/reseller. All products on our website are in stock and can be delivered with installation by our own service engineers. All systems are delivered with warranty! We are not a agent/reseller. All products on our website are in stock and can be delivered with installation by our own service engineers. All systems are delivered with warranty! We can deliver maintenance and repair services by our own engineers   The SPS-5 Sample Preparation System is a random-access autosampler which can be connected to all of the AA, ICP and UV spectrometers currently manufactured by Varian. It can hold up to 500 samples when the optional rear rack extension is fitted. A fume hood is also available. A range of rack types is available for different test tube sizes. Rack hole sizes can be further customized with the 60 position (Type 25) rack for different test tube diameters. The SPS-5 is compatible with the optional on-line Auto-Diluter. The SPS-5 autosampler includes rinse station, two racks (Type 25 and Type A) and inert probe. Standard configuration allows up to three sample or standard racks to be used at once. With the optional rack extension, up to five racks may be accommodated. Racks must be ordered separately. The autosampler requires but does not include test tubes/bottles. The SPS-5 is also available in a fibreoptic autosampler version for use with the Cary 1, 3, 4, 5, 50, 100, 300, 400 and 500 with the Cary WinUV software. Version 2 of the WinUV software does not support use of the SPS-5 with the normal liquid sampling probe nor does it support the optional Diluter. Rack recognition To reduce the risk of operator error, the SPS-5 features Magnetic Rack Recognition (MRR). Each rack has an embedded magnet which is detected by sensors in the SPS-5. The SPS-5 can detect rack presence and type, minimizing the risk of operator error during rack changes. Rack types The SPS-5 can be fitted with five different rack types, catering for a range of sample vessels: Rack type Capacity Tube volume (nominal) Type 10 100 10 mL Type 25 60 25 mL Type 50 35 50 mL Type A 12 125 mL Type B 6 500 mL The Type 25 rack can be fitted with adapters to hold small diameter test tubes. The Type A and B racks are supplied with vessels. All racks are made from chemical-resistant polypropylene. Probe height The height of the SPS-5 probe can be programmed so that you can sample from a particular layer in a sample or avoid aspirating sediment from the bottom of a vessel. Diluter An optional Diluter can be fitted to the SPS-5. This can be used for off-line standard and sample preparation prior to a run. It can also be used to perform on-line dilutions for some techniques. The Diluter’s design ensures that the syringe is never contaminated. After dispensing any solution into a sample vessel, the SPS-5 will mix the contents with the probe. The probe is simultaneously vibrated horizontally and moved up and down through the solution. Splashing is eliminated as the probe height is set in response to the volume in the vessel.

Infors Multitron HT Triple Stack Incubator Spares/Repairs NOTE - THIS IS A SPARES/REPAIRS ITEM

Infors Multitron HT Triple Stack Incubator This incubator system was removed from a university labor (more)atory where it was surplus to requirements. The units are in good used cosmetic condition with signs of general use. It has several operational issues affecting its performance: Top Unit: - Cooling system and blower heater are faulty. - Temperature settings are inaccurate: - Set to 1.0ºC, read 9.8ºC. - Set to 37ºC, initially correct but now fails to heat. - Set to 65ºC (Max), unable to maintain temperature; reads as faulty. - Shaker speed sensor is faulty, limiting operation to a maximum of 400rpm. Middle Unit: - The unit powers up and was successfully temperature tested, displaying accurate readings when set to 37ºc & 65ºc (MAX). - Shaker speed sensor issues cause erratic operation without displaying current speed. Bottom Unit: - The unit powers up and was successfully temperature tested, displaying accurate readings when set to 37ºc & 65ºc (MAX). - Shaker functions up to 230rpm smoothly; above this, it becomes erratic and displays errors. Given the multitude of issues, particularly with the cooling systems, heaters, and shaker speed sensors across all units, this triple stack incubator is listed for spares or repairs. This setup may require significant repairs, or could be used for parts by those capable of addressing these extensive technical issues.

Shaking Water bath LAUDA Hydro H 20 SOW-cover
Shaking Water bath LAUDA Hydro H 20 SOW

Water bath from 25°C to 99.9°C for the laboratory The shaking water baths of the LAUDA Hydro series  (more)stir laboratory samples with linear or orbital motion, depending on the model. They are reliable instruments, ideal for any laboratory application, be it biological, medical or biochemical, guaranteeing a homogeneous distribution of the temperature. The integrated speed controller enables a load-independent, continuously adjustable stirring movement with soft start. The H 20 SW and H 20 SOW shaking water baths are equipped with a cooling coil as standard. The temperature range can be extended to a minimum of +10°C by connecting them to the domestic water supply or commercially available circulating chillers. Qualitative characteristics - Digital regulation of the temperature and indication via LED display - Load-independent, continuously variable stirring with soft start - Electronic monitoring of the thermoregulator functions, with two fuses for under/over temperature protection - Tank, frame, cover with condensation channel, shaking basket and heater in stainless steel - No dripping condensation – arched insulating lid to reduce heat loss and prevent condensation from dripping onto samples Operation All water baths come standard with a perforated pan and no racks are required. Flasks and containers can be placed directly on the bottom. The drain valve is located on the rear side. Controllers The control panel consists of a large, high-contrast TFT display and a membrane keyboard with four softkeys, protected against dirt and water drops. The menu will guide you on how to use the bain-marie correctly. Esempi applicativi - Bacteriological tests - Molecular biology - Demulsivity studies - Processing of chemical reactions - Thawing - Metallurgical analyses - Incubation of microbiological assays - heating reagents - Environmental studies - Food Processing (QC) - Water quality research - Cytochemistry Accessories available Water level regulator. The heating element is located directly under the sieve plate for even temperature distribution in the tank. Electronic monitoring of the temperature regulator. Two independently operating temperature fuses. Improved visual and audible alarms for increased sample safety. Control elements tilted back for increased splash protection and improved operating comfort. - Perforated plate to place the glassware directly on the bottom. - Fill mark max. to prevent overflows. - Easy removal of sieve plate for cleaning. Highest quality materials: tank interior, lid, sieve and heating element made of stainless steel. Heat insulating lid in stainless steel, double walled with internal curvature to guide the condensate. Limescale deposits inside the water bath can be removed with normal commercial descalers. The internal tray can be easily disassembled and lifted for quick and thorough cleaning. Recommended accessories - Water level regulator. Thanks to this accessory, the loss of water inside the instrument (through evaporation) is compensated and the water level is kept constant. Furthermore, it allows use at temperatures below ambient temperatures, with a minimum of approx. 3°C above tap water temperature.
