This Bright Microtome 5040 Laboratory Cryostat was removed from a university lab where it was surplu (more)s to requirements. The unit powers up and the light works. It has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included). It was set to -35˚C. We ran for it for 6 hours and Quick Freezer Temperature got to -35˚c, Specimen Temperature got to -14˚c and the chamber Temperature got to -15˚c.
