Millipore Synergy UV Water Purification System

The Millipore Synergy UV Water Purification System operates with pretreated water sources such as Elix, RO, distilled, or DI water from a tank or loop. Upon dispensing Product Water, the Inlet Solenoid Valve opens, and the Booster Pump activates, directing the pretreated water into the UV System. This system uses a UV Lamp emitting at 185 nm and 254 nm to reduce organic molecules in the water. As a consumable, the UV Lamp requires periodic replacement during maintenance. The water passes through a SynergyPak cartridge for deionization. Three SynergyPak types are available: SynergyPak 1 for RO, distilled, or Elix feedwater; SynergyPak 2 for pretreated particle-free DI water; and SynergyPak 3 for pretreated DI water with particulates. Each SynergyPak, being consumable, must be periodically replaced. A final membrane-based filter eliminates particles and bacteria exceeding its pore size, also requiring regular replacement as a consumable device.
