Tailored to fulfill the requirements of modern laboratory settings, the Elix system is excellent for preparing reagents, buffers, microbiology media, hydroponic solutions, and histological samples. It serves as the ideal feedwater for Milli-Q and Super-Q ultrapure systems and is compatible with instruments like glassware washers, autoclaves, and hydrogen generators.

Key advantages include its consistent Type 2 water quality—achieved through resin beads that resist degradation from harsh chemicals and continuous regeneration to offset quality variation due to resin exhaustion. The self-regenerating technology offers cost and labor savings, negating the need for water softening and DI cartridge replacements, while maintaining a low energy footprint and minimal environmental impact.

The system employs a bactericidal UV lamp to irradiate pure water before storage, ensuring consistent purity. The reservoir's design protects against airborne contaminants with a vent filter and integrates an Automatic Sanitization Module (ASM) to prevent biofilm formation, facilitating smooth distribution to instruments or centralized loops.
