Mini heating plates and magnetic stirrers This ruggedly built OHAUS series of small instruments can  (more)heat and mix up to 1,000ml of water on their 102 x 102mm ceramic plate. They are perfect for school labs and other applications that require simple shaking and heating on a daily basis. All models are equipped with a support rod hook with a locking knob that accommodates the optional support rod kit. Stir models include a 38mm PTFE coated magnetic stir bar. Available models: Model with heating: up to 500°C. Fixed temperature model: 500°C. Model with stirring: 500°C. Model with heating and stirring: stirring from 100 to 1200 rpm; temp. up to 500°C. You can rely on the AREC for demanding laboratory reactions, stirring volumes up to 15 liters (H2O), from 50 up to 1500 rpm, thanks to the powerful motor and magnetic coupling. The electronic control adapts the stirring speed to any variation in the viscosity of the medium. SAFETY AND EASE OF USE FOR LAB OPERATORS The AREC stirrer with heating plate guarantees a superior level of safety and protection for laboratory operators, as it is entirely made of technopolymer and is equipped with an extremely resistant ceramic plate, ideal for high resistance to acids, bases and solvents . When the plate temperature is above 50°C and the heating function is not active, a safety message is displayed. The control panel is positioned at a safe distance from heat sources and the technopolymer structure is carefully designed so that accidental spills of liquids cannot reach the electronics. The extremely durable ceramic plate is easy to clean and resistant to acids, bases and solvents. Using a damp cloth, all residues will be easily removed. SAVE TIME AND SPACE WITH THE NEW CONTROL PANEL Thanks to the extremely bright and easy-to-read digital display, the temperature can be monitored constantly. Two new comfortable knobs: the one on the left for the temperature (up to 550°C), the one on the right for the stirring speed (up to 1500 rpm). The innovative low profile design for exceptional comfort above the bench and inside the lab hood. It is not possible to connect AREC to the Cloud Ermes system.
