Qiagen QIAcube Automated Processing System

The Qiagen QIAcube is a cutting-edge laboratory instrument designed to automate molecular biology workflows, featuring integrated components such as a centrifuge, heated shaker, pipetting system, and robotic gripper. It fully automates over 40 QIAGEN spin-column kits, streamlining the purification of RNA, genomic DNA, plasmid DNA, viral nucleic acids, and proteins, along with DNA and RNA cleanup. Preloaded with a variety of protocols, the QIAcube allows easy adaptation to diverse experimental needs by also supporting downloadable and customizable protocols.

Ideal for academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and biomedical research laboratories, the QIAcube excels in applications such as sequencing and sequencing analysis, gene expression analysis, genotyping, and proteomics.

The package includes essential accessories such as 2ml sample tubes, reagent bottles, rotor adapters, filter tips, and a reagent bottle rack, ensuring a seamless setup and operation.

With a maximum centrifuge speed of 12,000 x g, a working humidity of 10-75% (non-condensing), and dimensions of 650 x 620 x 570 mm, the QIAcube operates efficiently within 18-28°C. The pipetting system offers a range of 5-900 µl with a syringe size of 1 ml, processing 1 to 12 samples per run. The heated shaker operates between 100-2000 rpm and can heat up to 70°C with a quick ramp-up time.

Comprehensive QIAGEN protocols are either preinstalled with the QIAcube or available for download. The instrument operates on a power supply of 220-240V / 50-60Hz and weighs 70.5 kg, combining robust functionality with ease of use for sophisticated laboratory automation tasks.
