Optimum recovery of condensate prevents volume loss due to evaporation and associated changes in osmolarity as well as blocking of exhaust filters. No cooling agent or chiller is needed so users benefit from easy handling.

The rotor has a maximum rotational speed of 15,000 RPM and is used for centrifugation of standard application lab samples. The rotor has a 24-place tube array that holds 1.5 mL/2.0 mL tubes, and includes a certified aerosol-tight lid for working with hazardous samples. Both the rotor and lid are autoclavable at 121 degrees C for 20 minutes. This fixed-angle rotor is an accessory for use with Eppendorf centrifuge model 5424, which spins biological lab samples at high speeds to separate cellular material into component parts.
