The sophisticated Defender 6000 IP68/IP69K washable bench scale is adaptable, meticulously precise, and extraordinarily resilient. Designed to hold up in severely humid environments, this latest Defender® 6000 bench scale brings an IP69K level of protection to satisfy the hygiene prerequisites of the chemical and food industries.

For an extended period, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industry professionals have trusted OHAUS's Defender bench scales for their remarkable dependability, precision and adaptability.

- Withstands exhaustive cleansing procedures within processing and packaging atmospheres: IP68/IP69K

- NSF endorsed and HACCP system compliant with a 316 stainless steel base: Enhances corrosion protection in food and chemical processing and packaging areas.

- Comprehensive display and dissimilar application modes

- Connectivity: GLP/GMP data yield with a real-time clock

The DT61PW control panel, suitable for the Defender 6000 Hybrid, provides user-friendly operation with its five buttons and bright, large LCD screen. It comes with an optional infrared communication kit to enable connection without removing the casing. The monitor can store up to 1,000 weighing results, allowing for necessary traceability through transfer to a PC or system. PW models operate on standard D-cell batteries, with battery life extending up to 1,600 hours.

The D61XWE control panel, compatible with Defender 6000 in stainless steel, sponsors a bar matrix display, quick-change product keys and a cut-resistant keyboard, and touchless sensor. Multiple connectivity options, including standard RS232 and integrated USB host, are available. Optional extras include RS232/RS485/USB, analog output, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, Ethernet, and discrete I/O with relay. XWE models are operable on standard mains power, with optional backing from an external USB power bank (offering up to 55 hours of service from a 20,000mAh power bank).

For the Defender 6000 Hybrid, column-free models equipped with the DT61PW control panel are also obtainable.

APPLICATIONS

Weighing: Enables accurate weight assessment in the selected weight unit.

Parts Counting: Enables item counting based on uniform weight. Advanced auto-optimization software recalibrates the average piece weight by taking into consideration the overall weight increase.

Checkweighing/ Checkcounting: Compares item weight against preset limits and validates the count of a package against target limits. A clear and bright 3-color check light display or bar matrix provide indications of weight.

Percent Weighing: Indicates the weight of an item as a percentage of a fixed reference weight.

Dynamic Weighing and Display Hold: Compensates for vibrations or interferences by averaging item weights over time. The Display Hold feature manually or automatically retains the last stable item weight on the display.

Exclusive to the i-D61XWE models:

Filling: Enables filling a container to a predetermined weight. The 3-color bar matrix outlines the filling status. Compatible with the discrete I/O option kit for an automated filling system.

Library and User Management: Permits sharing of up to 300 library items (storing part numbers, tare weights, APWs, under/over limits, set points or reference weight) across different weighing modes. Also allows secure user access and traceability through storage of up to 100 user IDs

RESISTANCE AND UTILITY

The Defender 6000 scale sports a robust 316 stainless steel platform and framework, coupled with a cutting-edge weatherproof IP68/IP69K rating indicator, and hermetically sealed load cell. Additionally, its cut-resistant front panel is NSF Certified and USDA-AMS Approved, adhering to HACCP systems aimed towards ensuring food safety.

Capable of withstanding adverse conditions, from food to chemical spattering, the scale is built robustly to endure high-pressure washdowns.

The scale rebuffs the intensive washing common within processing and packaging environments.

Additional features include 150% overload protection, password-protected menu, menu, key lock, stability indicator, overload/underload indicators, low battery level indicator (exclusive to i-DT61PW models), automatic power-off and automatic tare. Lastly, a dedicated target key facilitates speedy configuration of over/under package weights, expediting line alterations and simplifying data printing template customization.

Disperser OV 625 Digital System Velp

A homogenizer is a laboratory or industrial instrument used for the homogenization of various types  (more)of materials, such as fabrics, plants, food, soil and many others. The OV 625 Digital laboratory disperser guarantees the highest level of reproducibility for a wide range of laboratory applications. Cutting-edge technology and engineering, like all Velp scientific products, guarantee precision and high shear force for rapid homogenization, emulsification, suspensions and high-speed mixing of biological tissues, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food products. Excellent mechanical properties and high chemical resistance make it suitable for even the most demanding laboratory challenges. DISPLAY AND CONTROL Bright, intuitive LED display and rotary knobs allow you to fine-tune the speed between 3,000 and 25,000 rpm. Clear speed information on a black background aids visibility in all conditions. SAFE AND RESISTANT Safety features ensure maximum operator protection. For example, once the set point speed has been set, the OV 625 Digital will reach it gradually. In addition, various alarms warn the user in case of overload and overtemperature. The resistant and hermetic structure allows correct operation even in the most difficult conditions. Warranty up to 3 years. For maximum comfort, choose the model with the double pole stand. CHOOSE THE SUITABLE ACCESSORY Choosing the right dispersing tool is essential to achieve maximum performance and high reproducibility. VELP dispersion tools are made of stainless steel (316L) and equipped with a PTFE seal, to be compatible with different types of samples and reagents. To handle different fluids, different dispersion tools are required. In some applications it is necessary to use two dispersing tools in order to achieve a final fineness level from coarse to fine. Thanks to a knob and a quick fastening system, inserting and changing the dispersion tool is simple and fast: in seconds you can switch from one application to the next. FOCUS ON THE PRODUCT What is a disperser? The disperser can be called in several different ways: homogenizer; Cell Lysor, High Shear Mixer, Polytron, Stator Rotor Homogenizer, Sonicizer or Tissue Tear. The various nomenclatures are due to the various uses of this tool and you have different results that can be obtained through the accessories. Essentially, a disperser is used to create a uniform mixture by forcing the sample through a narrow, confined space. Blade homogenizers, such as Velp's OV 625 Digital, use the blades as a rotor for dispersing. How does it work? The dispersing tool consists of a rotor rotating at high speed inside a stationary stator. The area between the rotor tip and the stator slot is called the shear gap. Thanks to the high circumferential velocity, the fluid is drawn axially into the dispersion head and forced radially through the cutting gap, breaking up the particles.
