Beckman Coulter Biomek NX S8 Pipetting Robot

The Beckman Coulter Biomek NX S8 features an 8-channel arm compatible with both disposable and fixed Teflon-coated tip pipettors. Users can easily exchange samples, and mixed operation is possible. The pipettor offers flexibility with capabilities to perform at 8 independent Z positions, handling different volumes with liquid level sensing as standard. The available glass syringes include volumes up to 250 µl in the current offer.

The Biomek NX allows for a customizable deck layout with labware organized on ALPs (Automation Labware Positions) that can be static or active, supporting functions like heating, cooling, shaking, stirring, and vacuuming. Both passive and active ALPs can be configured by the user at any deck position.

The Biomek NXP model is further equipped with a unique safety light curtain to prevent collisions during manual interventions, along with fully automated optical framing using AccuFrame technology.

The transfer volumes of 0.5 µl, 1 µl, and 5 µl ensure high accuracy and precision across various tip types (P20, Fixed 60 mm), with transfer accuracy as tight as ± 3% and precision up to ≤ 5%.
