The unit has not been tested but is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use. There are no rack inserts supplied. 65cm diameter, 69cm w/o wheels, 81cm w/ wheels.Inner - 11 x 4 x 13cm approx.Outer - 14 x 14 x 24cm approx. Wheels - 7.8kg, main unit - 34.8kg. 43.6kg combined.

This Vankel VK7010 Dissolution System VK750D Heater/Circulator was removed from a university lab whe (more)re it was surplus to requirements. The system powers up and is in good working order. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included). We are unable to test it further at our facility. It is in good cosmetic condition, with minor marks from previous use. The lab confirmed the unit was in good working order prior to removal. Printer paper not included. Includes 2 x Cable cables and 2 x Data cables.

This system was removed from a lab as it was no longer required. It was in full working order prior  (more)to removal from the lab. An engineer from Pacific Biosciences prepared the system for removal from the lab, including removing all the systems cladding, but unfortunately had to cut a few cables between the main unit and the environmental chamber. Whilst the blade server is included with the system, it has been wiped, so software may need reinstalling if you intend to use the system in full again. Strangely the information plate on the back of the unit just says 'PacBio RS' and not 'PacBio RS II' as would be expected, but the lab called it an RS II, and the cladding on the front says RS II, so we presume this is RS II. The engineer said that whilst getting the unit up and running again might be difficult, there is an enormous value of the system in parts. Apparently the camera part alone cost £125k. We have not removed any parts from the system whatsoever.
