The LAUDA Variocool are circulation chillers of unmatched versatility, with power ranging from 1200W to 10KW and designed for efficient dissipation of process heat in laboratories, minor industrial plants, or production settings. In a compact design that conserves space, these circulation chillers work optimally between temperatures of -20°C and +80°C with non-flammable heat transfer liquids.

These chillers feature a redesigned control panel and a colorful TFT display, ensuring a user-friendly interface for easy adjustments. Several options are available in terms of power capacity, pump pressure and flow rate, and tank size, ensuring that we can meet your specific requirements. All models, excluding VC 600, come in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions, equipped with stationary caster wheels for easy movement. The high-performance VC 5000 and above models offer options for noise reduction and outdoor installation. The cooling performance of our VC 5000 model ranges from 1.00 kW at -20°C to 5.00 kW at 20°C when measured with ethanol.

Features of note include an adjustable bypass for pressure limitation, a top filling opening, a drain cock at the back, and a built-in programmer with 150 segments that can be divided into 5 programs. Additionally, the Variocool line is equipped with an electronic level indicator with a low-level alarm along with our innovative SmartCool system for energy-efficient digital cooling and automatic compressor control. Tracking temperature has been made convenient with displayable temperature graphs.

The LAUDA Variocool circulation chillers are versatile enough to be used in a range of applications that includes refractometers, polarimeters, disposable bioreactors, food production extractors, micro-reactors, and more. Each unit comes with pump connection nozzles and a screw cap.

The front panel of the LAUDA Variocool is designed for easy removal for quick maintenance and modifications. The chiller can be upgraded with various interfaces, including an analog module, contact module, RS 232/485, Profibus, and Ethernet-USB module. The pump connection inlet, outlet, and bypass adjustments are conveniently located at the back of the unit.

The LAUDA Variocool models also feature a large pressure display on the front and a pump performance graph. The models come equipped with a light sensor, mains switch, and easy-to-use entry and arrow keys, amongst other features.
