Description by the supplier

The LAUDA Hydro series Water Baths provide the perfect solution for a myriad of laboratory applications, ranging from biological and medical to biochemical. With a temperature distribution that remains uniform and void of overheating issues, these water baths are the epitome of lab-grade precision and reliability.

Crafted with high-grade stainless steel, these water baths are suitably designed to accommodate any laboratory purpose with bath volumes ranging between 4 and 41 liters. The temperature spectrum extends up to 100°C with a stability of ±0.1K, allowing for optimal functionality even in boiling range scenarios. A TFT color display provides intuitive usage with temperature readings available in both °C and °F.

Applications include the preparation of medical, biological, or cell samples, microbiological test incubation, sample thawing, and executing chemical reactions.

Distinctive features:

- User-friendly timer functions

- In-tank electric resistance

- High-speed and accurate temperature control

- Visual and sound alarms for low/high temperature, insufficient water, and sensor malfunction

- Combined safety systems - digital and electromechanical

- Lid created to deter condensation drip onto samples

- Exhaust valve included in all models

Standard features:

- Insulating, double-walled stainless steel lid and drain tap

Available accessories include a water level regulator.

The water baths are constructed with top-quality materials including a stainless steel tank interior, lid, sieve, and heating element. The heat-insulating lid is double-walled with an internal curvature designed to guide condensate.

All Hydro Lauda models come equipped with a dump valve, and a user-friendly control panel, featuring a large TFT display for an abundance of information, easy setting adjustments, and quick navigation.

Alert systems for low water level, over/under temperature, as well as sensor failure/short circuit are both visual and audible.

The water baths promise optimized space, safety, and comfort of use.

Each unit can be connected to a water level regulator, available separately.

Suggested Accessories:

- Water Level Regulator: this accessory assists in compensating for water loss (due to evaporation) within the apparatus by sustaining a consistent water level. It also enables operation at temperatures below ambient, with a minimum approximately 3°C above tap water temperature.

LAUDA Hydro ring water baths are available in five models, all featuring a removable perforated lid with a set of heat-resistant plastic rings. - Operations in a temperature range from 25 to 100°C. - Models H 11 V, H 19 V have been specially designed for safe use in fume cupboards. - The housings are made of stainless steel to allow their use even with chemically aggressive fluids. - Temperature regulation by knob with graduated scale - Lid with set of rings for opening the modular tank - Water level and lack control, for continuous unattended operations - The support rods (length 600 mm, diameter 12 mm), made of stainless steel, are included as standard - Hydro is protected against dry running by an electro-mechanical valve. In case of low water, the heating is stopped In the photo, simple control panel, with knob, graduated scale, warning light and safety valve. Ring opening, to adapt to different types of glassware. Standard water level regulator for continuous operation, even unattended. Safety system in case of water shortage LAUDA evaporization baths are protected against dry running by a cut-off device for lack of water (thermostatic overvoltage). The nut located on the control panel will be used to disarm the security system. Water level regulator as standard Thanks to this accessory, the loss of water inside the instrument (through evaporation) is compensated and the water level is kept constant. Furthermore, it allows use at temperatures below ambient temperatures, with a minimum of approx. 3°C above tap water temperature.

Olympus OLA2500 Lab Automation System

Save precious time and gain efficiency in the lab with the OLA2500 Lab Automation System (LAS), the  (more)high-throughput aliquotting solution with pre- and post-analytical sample-processing capabilities. The Olympus OLA2500 LAS is an advanced modular automation system designed for medium- to high-volume laboratories. As a front-end sample-processor the OLA2500 LAS automates sample aliquotting – saving time, labor, and eliminating sample handling errors. The system also selectively decaps and sorts tubes to any analyzer sample rack. The Olympus OLA2500 LAS is a Olympus Lab Automation solution to increase productivity and efficiency in medium- to high-volume laboratories. It automates labor-intensive tasks such as sample identification, decapping, aliquotting, out sorting, and archive preparation of sample tubes. Typical aliquotting throughput of up to 650 total tubes per hour and sorting throughput of up to 800 tubes per hour to reduce your sample preparation for better test turn-around time Minimize your staff’s biohazard exposure, reduce errors, and reduce repetitive motion injuries associated with manual sample-processing User-defined applications for aliquotting priority, sorting, decapping, and archiving. Identifies sample tube size, cap type and color, and sample volume using an on board digital image analysis system Processes most primary tubes (including conventional, BD Hemoguard or screw top closures in parallel, foil top closures with optional decapping unit) Builds personality racks for Olympus, Hitachi, Beckman-Coulter and others Automatically generate secondary tubes with user defined barcode labels No carryover with disposable, conductive aliquot tips Clot detection to ensure valid sample distribution Prioritized aliquotting when there is insufficient amount of sample in the primary tube Load up to as many as 300 samples in the input area Sort to any number of user defined sorting targets with up to 1,080 tube capacity at the destination area Holds bulk on-board consumable inventory Sort and speed primary and/or secondary samples to workstations in specific analyzer racks Access samples without interrupting the instrument with electronically controlled drawer bays Sorts primary and secondary sample tubes at high speeds to meet peak load demands Archive samples in parallel with sorting or separately in batch User defined sorting areas that accommodates any analyzer sample rack Reduces the number of “problem tubes” at the analytical workstations by sorting out the tubes with bar code label, test order and decapping problems Decap screw cap and conventional rubber closures in parallel with a standard decapper; an optional decapper handles foil top closures
