Safety system in case of water shortage LAUDA evaporization baths are protected against dry running by a cut-off device for lack of water (thermostatic overvoltage). Water level regulator as standard Thanks to this accessory, the loss of water inside the instrument (through evaporation) is compensated and the water level is kept constant. Furthermore, it allows use at temperatures below ambient temperatures, with a minimum of approx. 3°C above tap water temperature.

It is managed by a magnetic electric motor which transmits the rotation to a PTFE-coated stirrer in the tank. The agitator draws the water towards the center and then distributes it to the rest of the tank. The water circulation is activated via the main switch. Recommended accessories - Water level regulator. The water regulator located on the back of the water bath is used to maintain constant the set water level during water loss due to evaporation. This Planer Kryosave Compact K250/1.7 & Temperature Gauge Model K51-230-N-F-H were removed from  (more)a university lab where tey were surplus t requirements. Both units are in reasonably good cosmetic condition but they both have various marks and scrapes. The KS1 has a chip out of the bottom plate. They both power up and appear to work together. The system comprises of; 1 x Planer Kryosave Compact K250/1.7 - Powers up and the motor starts spinning. It is in good cosmetic condition. 1 x Planer Kryosave Temperature Gauge Model K51-230-N-F-H. - The unit powers up and displays the message "EE.E". It is in reasonable condition but has a chipped frame at the bottom.
