The Delcon HemoMix 2 Electronic Blood Bag Monitor is designed for seamless integration with all types of blood donor bags, offering versatility in various blood collection settings. Outfitted with a sophisticated linear mixing system, the HemoMix 2 ensures precise and consistent mixing of blood with anticoagulant, thereby maintaining the integrity of the collected samples.
This unit allows for adjustable alarm settings tailored to low and high flow rates and can accommodate a maximum donation time of up to 20 minutes. Users can conveniently set a default volume (routine value) in milliliters, which the mixer will automatically reference upon each activation. This volume setting is flexible and can be altered at any stage during the donation process, ensuring adaptability to specific collection needs.
Upon completion of a donation, the HemoMix 2 engages an automatic tube clamping mechanism and activates both optical and visual alarms to indicate closure. During this final stage, the display alternates between showing the total collected volume and the donation duration in a detailed minutes-and-seconds format.
Calibration is straightforward and can be performed using a calibration mass (not included). Additionally, an optional rechargeable battery pack (not included) enables the HemoMix 2 to operate independently of a power source for up to 80 donations, facilitating mobility and convenience in varied operational environments.
With compact dimensions of 300 x 200 x 250 mm and a lightweight design weighing just 3 kg, the HemoMix 2 is a practical and efficient solution for blood collection professionals.
