With a maximum capacity of 4 x 200ml, this centrifuge is ideal for a variety of applications in the life sciences, including tissue culture and molecular biology. Its timer allows for up to 99 hours and 59 minutes of operation, with the option for continuous use. The Hermle Z327 also has the ability to store up to 99 programs, making it highly customizable for specific experimental protocols. Both the Z327 and the refrigerated Z327-K offer a wide assortment of rotor options (up to 19), making them ideal for a wide variety of research applications. Rotor exchange between swing out, micro, or high-volume fixed angle rotors is very simple and can be done in a matter of seconds. Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. Rotor exchange is simple and requires less than one minute. An included rotor wrench can be used to loosen and install all rotors.
