VWR CompactStar CS4 Benchtop Centrifuge

This Sigma 1-15K Refrigerated Benchtop Centrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was sur (more)plus to requirements. The unit has been recertified by a service engineer. It is in full working order. It has had a new gas strut fitted, but the lid can get stuck. Once it is opened it will repeatedly open, but when left for an amount of time it can get stuck again. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with some minor marks from use.

This Sanyo MSE Mistral 2000R Refrigerated Benchtop Centrifuge was removed from a university lab wher (more)e it was surplus to requirements. The unit has been tested and is in working order. The RPM could be set up to 6500 but the rotor would only run up to 4500rpm. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).When the temperature was set to 4˚c, the thermometer read 5˚cWhen the temperature was set to -4˚c (minimum) the thermometer read -5˚c There is a Rotor inside with 4 x Buckets and 2 x Yellow 50ml Adaptors. It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use.

It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks. This item includes the following rotor: Thermo Jouan High Throughput Swing-Out Rotor Model S40Max Load 2.00kgMax speed 4300 (rpm) This item ran at 4000rpm with S40 Rotor fitted.As stated in the manual, the maximum speed for a swing-out rotor on this unit is 4000 rpm.
