The Eppendorf 5424 Centrifuge is a compact and highly efficient bench-top centrifuge ideal for laboratory use. It offers adjustable speeds ranging from 100 to 15,000 rpm in 50 rpm increments, delivering a relative centrifugal force between 1 x g and 21,130 x g, also adjustable in 50 x g increments. With a maximum kinetic energy of 4,070 J, it provides robust performance for a variety of applications.
Designed for flexibility, the cycle time ranges from 30 seconds to 9 hours and 59 minutes, as well as an infinite setting for prolonged operations. Its dimensions (WxDxH) are 240 x 320 x 230 mm, making it a space-efficient choice, while its weight of 13 kg ensures stable operation.
The centrifuge is equipped with the Eppendorf FA-45-24-11 fixed angle rotor, which can accommodate 24 x 1.5 mL tubes and reach speeds up to 15,000 rpm. The rotor is fitted with an aerosol-tight lid for enhanced safety.
