Benchmark’s flagship MC-24R refrigerated microcentrifuge features a next-generation touch control panel, high-speed centrifugation (up to 13,500 rpm / 16,800 xg), and compatibility with the unique COMBI-Rotor™ (sold separately), which accepts both standard microtubes (1.5/2.0 ml) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2 ml), eliminating the need for a dedicated PCR strip/tube rotor. These features make it an ideal choice for any molecular biology laboratory.
The MC-24R offers an optional hermetically sealed rotor and a four-place PCR strip rotor.
It also includes adjustable acceleration/deceleration rates, real-time rpm and rcf conversion, program storage for up to 99 runs, and a status indicator light, which informs the user if the unit is running, in standby, or has completed a run.
