This Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real Time PCR System was removed from a university lab where it  (more)was surplus to requirements. The system powers up and is in good cosmetic condition with only minor usage marks. We have been able to connect the unit to the PC, but unable to test it further. It will likely require servicing before it is used. This Techne Thermal Cycler 3 Prime was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to require (more)ments. The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition. There are stains on the top of the lid and by the LCD display. The right hinge has broken on the inside, which causes that section to not sit flat. The rubber seal around the heat block has broken and can come loose. This doesn't seem to affect its ability to retain heat. The 24x well block fits 0.1ml test vials. The item powered on without issue. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included). When set to 37 the thermometer measured 36.7˚C.When set to the max of 100 the thermometer measured 100.0˚C.The heated lid works as intended.
