The Bax System QTC-1200 by DuPont Qualicon is an advanced real-time PCR system designed for genetics-based screening. It offers quick and accurate detection of target bacteria in raw ingredients, finished food products, and environmental and water samples. Utilizing the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), it delivers straightforward "yes-no" answers without needing confirmation or expert result interpretation. The integrated cycler/detector of the Bax system simplifies use through automated amplification and detection, allowing users to simply load samples and walk away, with clear and reliable electronic results available in approximately four hours.
