The ProFlex Thermal Cycler is designed as a precision tool for end-point nucleic acid amplification using PCR. It features a responsive touchscreen display for input and continuous updates on time, status, and temperature during each cycle. Compatible with Applied Biosystems' Thermal Cycler Fleet Control Software, it supports seamless integration into laboratory workflows. With a PCR volume range of 5 – 20 µL, a maximum block ramp rate of 3.0°C/sec, and a maximum sample ramp rate of 1.6°C/sec, it ensures accurate and uniform results. Temperature accuracy is maintained at ±0.25°C from 35°C to 99.9°C, and it offers a wide operational temperature range from 0°C to 100.0°C. The system's consistent performance is highlighted by temperature uniformity of <0.5°C, 20 seconds after reaching 95°C. Measuring 272 x 330 x 565 mm and weighing 20.4 kg, this thermal cycler combines robust design with operational precision.
