This Don Whitley Scientific miniMACS Anaerobic Workstation was removed from a university lab where i (more)t was surplus to requirements. The unit has been looked at by a qualified service engineer. The pump works from the main socket but not from the instrument socket. They cleaned the filter which was previously making the pump run loudly. They repaired the fans which were previously broken. They have tested the cabinet with a vacuum pump and it seems it is holding the vacuum. Although one piece of plexiglass holding the right door lock is broken. The system holds a vacuum despite this. The temperature was tested up to 37˚c, it took about an hour to reach this. It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use and the aforementioned crack.
