The kuroGEL Verti 1010YK is a refrigerated dual vertical electrophoresis system designed to accommodate two gels measuring 10x10 cm. It is equipped with a mounting bracket and includes essential components such as 2 plain glass plates, 2 cut glass plates, 1 mock plate, 1.0mm spacers, and two 12-well 1.0mm combs, along with silicone tubing. The system features connectors with a diameter of 4 mm and operates optimally at a voltage of 100 - 150 V. A user manual is provided for guidance.
A standout feature of the kuroGEL Verti 1010YK is its novel clamping mechanism, making it compatible with most precast polyacrylamide gels, including dimensions of 8×10 cm and 10×10 cm, regardless of thickness variety. The design requires only two screws for clamping, eliminating the necessity for spacers. Furthermore, self-sealing push-in connectors are incorporated to prevent coolant leakage, enhancing the operational reliability of the system.
