The Hoefer HE-PLUS Horizontal Nucleic Acid Electrophoresis System is a compact, user-friendly solution for high-throughput nucleic acid separation. Featuring a built-in variable power supply with an LED display, this system provides clear visibility of voltage, amperage, and time, allowing precise control over every run. With an adjustable power range of 10 to 400 mA or 10 to 150 volts, the HE-PLUS is versatile enough for a wide range of applications. The integrated timer with a 99-hour, 59-minute limit and audible alert ensures efficient workflow management.


Designed for high efficiency, the HE-PLUS supports a 96-well format compatible with multichannel pipettes, making sample loading fast and accurate. Its durable polycarbonate tank and UV-transmitting construction allow clear monitoring throughout the run, while a vented lid reduces condensation. Safety is prioritized with a microsensor that prevents operation without the safety lid in place.
