This Pyrosequencing PSQ96MA Pyrosequencer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to  (more)requirements. The unit powers up and the lab believed it was in full working order prior to removal. It was not tested further at our facility. It is in good cosmetic condition but one of the feet has sheared off at the screw. It has some minor marks from use. This Illumina HiSeq 2500 Genome Sequencer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to  (more)requirements. It powers up and is in excellent cosmetic condition with minor marks. We were unable to test it further without the PC. This system was removed from a lab as it was no longer required. It was in full working order prior  (more)to removal from the lab. An engineer from Pacific Biosciences prepared the system for removal from the lab, including removing all the systems cladding, but unfortunately had to cut a few cables between the main unit and the environmental chamber. Whilst the blade server is included with the system, it has been wiped, so software may need reinstalling if you intend to use the system in full again. Strangely the information plate on the back of the unit just says 'PacBio RS' and not 'PacBio RS II' as would be expected, but the lab called it an RS II, and the cladding on the front says RS II, so we presume this is RS II. The engineer said that whilst getting the unit up and running again might be difficult, there is an enormous value of the system in parts. Apparently the camera part alone cost £125k. We have not removed any parts from the system whatsoever.

This UVP Sterilaire UV PCR Workstation was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to req (more)uirements. The unit powers up but only the white light works. We couldn't get the UV lights to work. There is one large crack in particular on the right-hand side at the front. The item is in a reasonable used cosmetic condition but the perspex has a lot of cracks. Internal dimensions - D55 W71 H68cm
