Immunetics MiniBlotter 16 Multi-Channel Blotting Device

The Immunetics MiniBlotter 16 is an advanced blotting device featuring 2x16 channels, each with a maximum reagent capacity of 350μL. Its channel dimensions are 3.0 mm in width and 5.5 cm in length, while accommodating blots up to 8.3 cm wide. It is designed for membrane-based assays, such as Western, Northern, and Southern Blots, as well as Checker-board Blots, utilizing microliter instead of milliliter volumes. This setup allows for the simultaneous analysis of multiple samples without the risk of cross-contamination, significantly reducing processing times. Results can be compiled on a single membrane, and the device is compatible with all standard electrophoresis systems.

The MiniBlotter facilitates multiple antibody or probe incubations on one membrane using minimal reagent volumes. This makes it ideal for applications such as monoclonal antibody screening, serum screening (both animal and human), and DNA probe hybridizations. The Washing Manifold feature allows for the simultaneous washing of all sample lanes, further streamlining sample processing. Reactions can be detected using a variety of conventional methods, including enzyme conjugates, chemiluminescence, and radiolabels.
