The A&D Viscometer SV-1A uses a vibrating tuning fork method for precise viscosity measurement of small-volume samples (minimum 2ml). It is designed for fast, highly accurate viscosity analysis particularly suited for non-Newtonian and volatile products.

- Sample volume: Minimum 2ml, with cups of 35ml, 13ml, 10ml, and sample tubes of 2ml
- Measurement range: 0.3 to 1,000 mPa.s
- Units: mPa.s, Pa.s, cP, P
- Temperature range: 0 to 160° C
- Measurement speed: First result within 15 seconds, continuous real-time refresh
- Repeatability: ±1% of displayed value
- Sample compatibility: Foaming samples, foam, flowing or agitated samples
- Impact on samples: Low mechanical and negligible thermal impact preserves sample texture and characteristics
- Operation: Push-button start, no configuration needed, easy cleaning
- Calibration: User-accessible 1- or 2-point calibration; simplified automated calibration and adjustment
- Software: WinCT-Viscosity for PC data acquisition, curve display, and archiving viscosity vs. temperature/time
- Temperature control options: Water jacket (AX-SV-37) or other methods for sample temperature regulation
