MET ONE 237A Portable Airborne Particle Counter

The MET ONE 237A is a versatile, battery-operated portable airborne particle counter by Met One Instruments. It features portability with up to six size channels and an integrated printer, all encapsulated in a compact design. The device measures airborne particles in up to six distinct size ranges simultaneously, displaying data on the front-panel either as total particle count (cumulative) or individual size range count (differential). The bright LED screen ensures easy readability of data, and the built-in printer provides comprehensive printouts showing both cumulative and differential count information for each size range.

It can store data for up to 500 samples in a rotating buffer, with sample and hold times ranging from 1 second to 24 hours. Count alarms are configurable from 1 to 9,999,999 counts for each channel, and the device can operate in manual, auto, concentration, and beep count modes. In concentration mode, the MET ONE 237A takes 1-second samples with options to average 1 to 10 samples, updating display data every second, presenting counts per cubic foot, liter, or cubic meter (1000L).

The battery requires a 16-hour recharge time when unit is off, with an operating duration of 4 hours when printing or 8 hours without printing. Its dimensions are 170 x 120 x 300 mm and it weighs 3.1 kg.
