The unit is lockable but no key is supplied. It is a barrel lock with the number 252. When powered up the item performs a self-calibration test that displays the motor in good working order, unable to test further as it requires connection to software.

This Leco AMA254 Mercury Analyzer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirem (more)ents. The unit powers on and is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but there is some surface rust visible on some of the components inside the unit. The glass window has been previously damaged, but has been repaired to a good standard. The Quicksilver software has been loaded onto a PC and communicates with the instrument.
