The Ohaus Scout STX1202 is a compact, portable scale featuring a 170x140mm platter, ideally suited for both laboratory and industrial settings. Its user-friendly color touchscreen display ensures ease of navigation, and its compact design facilitates efficient storage. Functionalities:

1. Weighing: Precisely measures the weight of objects on the plate in the chosen unit of measurement.
2. Piece Counting: Accurately counts the quantity of uniformly weighted items on the scale.
3. Percent Weighing: Measures the weight of an object as a percentage of a pre-set reference weight.
4. Check Weighing: Compares the weight of an item against pre-set target limits.
5. Dynamic/Animal Weighing: Determines the weight of an unstable load by averaging the weights over a specific period.
6. Totalization: Cumulatively weighs multiple items and can surpass the balance's capacity.
7. Density Determination: Establishes the density of solids and liquids. Its specially designed hook beneath the scale can conduct specific gravity tests even for items that don't stay securely on the pan.
8. Display Hold: Keeps the last stable weight or peak stable weight value displayed manually.
9. Molar Weighing: Gauges the weight of a sample and computes it automatically into Moles.

The Ohaus Scout STX1202 boasts a 4.3'' (109 mm) VGA color touchscreen display and has an adjustable brightness setting. It operates via a power supply (adapter included) or batteries (not included), with indicators for low battery situations and ‘programmable automatic shutdown’.
