Ergonomic Mechanical Design The latest AS R2 PLUS analytical balance features spacious weighing chamber, and the open-door clearance facilitates easy access to the weighing pan. With this it is possible to use laboratory glassware of various sizes. New aluminium base is a guarantee for weighing system stability. Dual-CLICK system allows tool-free assembly and disassembly of the weighing chamber, and a special design of guides for weighing chamber panes (no rims) makes keeping the device clean convenient. Innovative construction solutions increase balance durability and reliability in long-term operation. Levelling System Standard AS R2 PLUS balances are equipped with a levelling device located at the front of the weighing chamber, which facilitates level control. Levelling operation is now simplified and easier due to the reduced quantity of adjustable supporting points (2 points). Intuitive Operation Balances are equipped with LCD display ensuring clear presentation of the weighing result. Direct access to functions and databases is possible via the following keys: Database – direct access to databases, Function – direct access to basic functions, F1-F4 – programmable function keys and menu navigation keys. AS R2 PLUS analytical balances signal operated working mode, computer connection, weighing and service functions via pictograms. The quantity of displayed weighing units is also expanded. Dedicated status bar enables display of additional messages, e.g. product name, tare value. Real-time mass measurement is presented using bar graph. Internal Adjustment Modernized internal adjustment system guarantees accurate indications in extremely unfavourable conditions. Data Protection Access to valuable information is possible after logging. The administrator manages the data access configuration. ALIBI Memory Data safety is ensured by the ALIBI memory integrated into AS R2 PLUS balances, which enables record of up to 100 000 weighings. ALIBI guarantees continuity of data collection over a long period of time. Databases The information system is based on 5 databases, which allows several users to work with several product databases, and the registered weighing results can be subject to further analysis. The data is registered in 5 databases: operators (up to 10 users), products (up to 1000 products), weighings (up to 5000 weighings), tares (up to 100 tares), ALIBI memory (up to 100 000 weighings). Communication Interfaces The functionality of AS R2 PLUS balances can be expanded using the following communication interfaces: USB-A, USB-B, RS 232, Wi-Fi (option). Additional option: Under-pan weighing Weighing instruments purchased after 15th February 2023 will allow under-pan weighing at any time after the purchase. Perfectly visible messages additionally supported by bargraph. The top part of the operation panel features a bar graph consisting of 9 red and green diode fields. The bar graph is a graphic visualisation informing the user on a current net weight of a product presented with reference to the scale range or declared min and max thresholds. The power of HX7’s working mods. Do you need ALIBI? There you have it. ALIBI memory is like a black box of a scale. It records all measurements taken on the device. The ALIBI memory cannot be modified or erased. Referring to stored weighings you can generate weighing reports, formulation reports and reports on performed control processes. Single weighing is stored in the ALIBI memory as long as it is specified by a Weighing Storage Period (days) parameter.

The HX5.EX scale is a modern weighing instrument assuring fast and reliable measurement in hazardous (more) areas classified as zones 1/21 and 2/22. To ensure precision and excellent measurement repeatability, high quality electronic components are used. The weighing platforms offered in wide range of dimensions and maximum capacities, this combined with excellent metrological parameters enables easy selection of an instrument that meets the most demanding requirements. Standard version of the scale is equipped with 2 serial, intrinsically safe RS232 communication interfaces, and with one RS485 interface. They facilitate cooperation with equipment intended for operation in hazardous areas. Possibility to add digital inputs/outputs extends the range of instruments compatible with the indicator by automatic elements compliant with ATEX directive. More demanding customers can use the IM01.EX module, installed in the safe area, which extends the available connectors by Ethernet, USB, 4-20mA/0- 10V analog outputs, Profibus DP and additional digital inputs/outputs. This enables cooperation with external devices: barcode scanners, printers, external displays, control buttons, light signalling towers, other controlling/signalling devices, systems for automatic process control and superior IT systems. Scale operation requires use of a dedicated PM01.EX power supply, which is not a standard scale component. To operate the scale, order a selected type of the dedicated intrinsically safe power supply. Power supply types: PM01.EX-1 - power supply for operation in ATEX area. Used when it is required to connect the power supply to voltage source placed in hazardous area. PM01.EX-2 - power supply for operation outside ATEX area. Used when power supply connection to voltage source is carried out outside hazardous area. Complex software enables carrying out many tasks connected with mass measurement, e.g. parts counting, checkweighing and statistics. The scales feature user-friendly graphic interface, which can be customized using widgets. This and the large colour display of high resolution guarantee easy and clear transmission of data on current process. Colour bar graph significantly influences performance by signalling whether the weighing result is within declared thresholds or not.
