Description by the supplier

E1-class mass standards are the elite in the world of metrology, because standards of this class represent the highest level of precision and accuracy in mass measurement. The E1 classification is one of the most stringent standards that standards must meet in order to be considered the most advanced and trustworthy measurement tools.

E1 - class standard: stainless steel wire

Nominal value: 200 mg

Material: stainless steel

What Are the Characteristics of the E1 Class?

Highest Precision

- The allowable deviation from the actual weight is minimal, making standards of this class ideal for applications where every gram matters.

Stability and Repeatability

- This guarantees a consistent level of accuracy over the long term.

Accurate Calibration

- Standards of this class must be regularly compared with other standards of known mass to confirm their measurement accuracy.

Materials with Unique Properties

-

E1 class mass standards are often made of materials with exceptional physical properties, which makes them stable and resistant to changes in environmental conditions.

Application

1.

Analytical Laboratories

In analytical laboratories where accurate measurements are crucial, E1 class mass standards are used to calibrate balances with the highest precision.

2.

Pharmaceutical Industry

In drug manufacturing, where even the slightest deviation from the standard affects quality, E1 class mass standards are irreplaceable.

3.

Scientific Research

In scientific research, especially in areas requiring the highest precision, such as physics or chemistry, E1 class mass standards are used to ensure reliable results.

4.

Metrology Industry

In metrology laboratories where research on E1 class mass standards alone is carried out, E1 class standards are the standard of excellence.

Class E1 mass standards are not only measuring tools, but also a symbol of metrological excellence. Their use affects the quality of measurements in various areas of life because they provide precision that can be relied upon. They are a key element in the world of mass measurement, shaping standards and raising the bar for all measurement tools.

VACUUBRAND MD 12 NT Diaphragm Pump-cover
VACUUBRAND MD 12 NT Diaphragm Pump

VACUUBRAND MD 12 NT Diaphragm Pump Ultimate Vacuum 2 mbar (1.5 Torr) Maximum Pumping Speed 7.1 CFM  (more)at 60Hz Number of Heads/Stages 8/3 Features - Contamination-free pumping and evacuation - High flow rate even near ultimate vacuum - Whisper quiet - Reduced process times - Exceptionally long diaphragm life and maintenance-free drive system for low lifetime costs The MD 12 NT diaphragm pump is an especially powerful pump for oil-free evacuation and pumping of non-aggressive gases. The three-stage design of this eight-cylinder pump provides the advantageous combination of very high pumping speed and excellent ultimate vacuum. The flow path consists of aluminum, stainless steel and carefully selected plastics to permit a wide range of applications. The fabric-reinforced double diaphragms are made of highly flexible FKM for extended operating life and high vacuum performance. Eight-cylinder NT pumps feature quiet operation, with smooth and easy-to-clean surfaces. Like all VACUUBRAND diaphragm pumps they operate absolutely oil-free and do not have any sliding components in the gas path. In normal operation they are completely free of abrasion. This eliminates most of the particulate impurities frequently generated inside of scroll or piston pumps. The MD 12 NT is an excellent choice for continuous, oil-free evacuation and pumping of non-aggressive gases, especially for applications in physics and analytics. Due to the very good ultimate vacuum the MD 12 NT is often used as an alternative to rotary vane pumps, for example for vacuum ovens, for very quick and efficient degassing of viscous media, exhaust gas analytics and especially as backing pump for large turbomolecular drag pumps. The particularly high pumping speed enables the usage of bigger vacuum apparatus and with high gas throughput. The pump is extraordinarily silent and exhibits very low vibration making it an excellent choice for sensitive equipment such as electron microscopes. Back diffusion of oil or even oil back flow, e.g., into a high vacuum chamber is excluded due to its oil-free operation. INCLUDED: The VACUUBRAND MD 12 NT Diaphragm Pump includes: - Power Cord - Operator's Manual - Manufacturer's Documentation - 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
