Electric charges of the air are neutralized by the ionizer enabling reaching a quasi-balance of plus and minus ions. Unbalance of plus and minus ions in the air frequently causes unwanted electric influences (attraction or repulsion) of elements which are in small distance to each other. It is a usual phenomenon for non-conducting materials (i.e. plastic, glass). As some of balance elements are made of plastic and glass, this problem can considerably affect their operation and measurement results.
