The Power Washer 384 uses interchangeable wash heads for both plate formats and can process all wells simultaneously without time-consuming wash-head indexing. Dispense and aspiration speed, vertical aspiration position, and vacuum level can be adjusted for application-specific washing performance.
The instrument supports automated switching between up to three wash buffers and can be programmed through the integrated keypad or the WinWash plus software package. Up to 20 washing programs can be stored. Predefined automated cleaning procedures support routine maintenance and process reliability.
An integrated aerosol shield helps protect users from potentially infectious aerosols during plate washing. Optional configurations include a large volume bottle set and liquid level control for buffer and waste bottles; inclusion of these options in this unit is not confirmed.
The washer is compatible with Tecan Freedom EVO liquid handling workstations, the TRAC system, and the Connect microplate stacker system. It can also be operated as a standalone microplate washer.
