The Thermo Savant SPD120 centrifugal vacuum concentrator kit is a complete SpeedVac-type sample concentration system for gentle, efficient drying of biological and chemical samples. It combines centrifugal force, controlled heat, and reduced pressure to concentrate heat-sensitive materials while helping minimize thermal degradation and sample loss.
The system is suitable for DNA and RNA purification, PCR sample preparation, oligonucleotides, peptide and protein solutions, and organic extracts. These capabilities make the SPD120 relevant to molecular biology, biotechnology, synthetic biology, and biopharmaceutical sample-processing workflows.
