The Corepoint Scientific PRF102WWW-040 is a compact, freestanding laboratory combo unit that includes a refrigerator and a manual defrost freezer. Designed to maximize facility floor space and efficiency, this unit features separate chambers for refrigeration and freezing, each with its own microprocessor temperature controller and digital display for precise temperature control and recovery. The refrigerator has a capacity of 5.2 cu. ft., maintaining temperatures between 2°C to 8°C, while the freezer has a capacity of 4 cu. ft., with an operating range of -37°C to -43°C. Both compartments are equipped with audible and visual high and low temperature alarms, two probes (one in air and one in a sample bottle), and remote alarm contacts to ensure the security of critical samples. The unit includes three adjustable shelves in each chamber, a bottom footed shelf for air circulation, and a back wall evaporator cover. Additional features include keyed door locks, magnetic door gaskets for a positive seal, recessed door handles, a stacking kit, leveling legs, LED interior lights, and a probe access port. The white cabinet and doors are insulated with high-density urethane foam, using HFC-free refrigerant (R600a) for the refrigerator and natural hydrocarbon refrigerant (R290) for the freezer, ensuring an environmentally friendly operation.
